Part 1: Think about how to build teams in terms of designing the task, selecting the people, and then, managing their relationships. How would compose a team for completing a course/work project in terms of the three dimensions listed above. How would you incorporate diversity in designing a team?

Part 1: There will be specific goals and objectives for each project which can be achieved only if tasks are completed (D. Sandy Staples et al.,2005). The following are the steps that one should consider for completing a project. Initially, group leader should be nominated based on rotation basis if it is burden for a single person and online work space should be setup for team members to share the share, edit documents. Furthermore, everyone’s role should be discussed and explained for expected outcomes. Assignment due date should also be mentioned so that there wouldn’t be any conflicts with due dates (D. Sandy Staples et al.,2005). Moreover, planning and preparation is need so that everyone in the team knows what and how it should be done by working together to break the project into small tasks based upon each member talents. In addition, if the work couldn’t be completed by any of the team members then working with that person makes him to feel supportive.

Part 2:  Since different people works in project and don’t know about the other people working in the team, thereby, team identity helps to manage project. This can be done by clarifying work relationships so that people will become familiar with other’s style of working. Furthermore, defining team procedures will develop new procedures by encouraging the team and defining each person authority can make them to take decisions that are outside of the team (Litchfield, R.C et al.,2017). In addition, project manager should be assigned to coordinate responsibilities so that each team member is continuously reminded about project goals and commitments. Likewise, open communication should be encouraged regarding the problems that arise in the project, thereby, resolving team issues improves workrelationship and make productive. On the other hand, team member identity is also important because when team member don’t have the flexibility to discuss their contributions, concerns leads to wrong expectations, commitments.
